Dress: Urban Outfitters / Jacket: Leather market in Florence, Italy, N/A / Neck Scarf: Hermes / Sneakers: Zara / Bracelets: Hermes, David Yurman / Sunnies: Ray-Ban

I’ve been meaning to get this post up for the past two weeks or so but haven’t had the chance to sit down at my computer to type it up!

We did all we could to get this look in before the rain really came down. If you look at some of the pictures close enough, my hair and dress are wet!

When I put this outfit together, I didn’t even realize what a great July 4th look this could be. July 4th is one of my favorite holidays. I think: BBQs, the Hamptons, tie-dying t-shirts (or some sort of craft my grandmother could come up with), and doing the “dock thing” – a family tradition that only happens at my grandparent’s summer home.

I recently picked up this chambray dress from Urban Outfitters. I’m actually not a fan of the thin straps on it so I knew right away I would have to find something to throw over it. I have had this white leather vest sitting in the back of my closet since I visited my best friend in Florence while she was studying abroad. I have yet to find a time to wear it so I was thrilled that it worked with this chambray dress!

The sneakers are from Zara and although they are pretty similar to my Adidas originals, the subtle pop of neon and hidden lace ties make them different enough to own both!

I added the Hermes Twilly scarf and mirrored Ray-Bans to tie the whole look together.

Thanks for stopping by! xx
