I shot this look earlier today, just before it started completely down-pouring! These were taken at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum, just a few miles from my house. In my 23 years of living on Long Island, I can’t believe I had never been to the arboretum! It is seriously about 3 miles from where I live, I have passed it a million times, yet I have never gone in until today. I was pleasantly surprised – it was beautiful!
My Seastar Beachwear espadrilles are perfect for rainy days. They’re made of neoprene (think: bathing suit material!) and rubber which makes them beyond comfortable for running errands in the rain. They are also a great alternative to rain boots during the Summer because your feet won’t sweat in them and they can be paired with shorts, skirts, dresses, you name it! They come in a ton of different colors and I may need to try their new slingback espadrilles for next Summer!
Just Black denim has become one of my favorite brands. Not only are they affordable (under $100!), they have a great amount of stretch and they hold their shape. I got this pair from a new boutique in Westhampton called Ravel. Check out their Facebook page here – they’re only open on the weekends now during the off season but they have a great selection of denim, sweaters, and accessories.
Thanks for reading! Stay dry to anyone experiencing the crazy rain right now!
