I am [finally] back!! I can’t believe it has been nearly two months since my last blog post. Since April 11th, when I shot this look, I have graduated college, started a temporary summer job, and decided to move to Boston come September (or maybe sooner)… More to come on all of that! 🙂
I am so excited to be working with Victoria and Tara from Time Stand Still Photography. We have many exciting outfits and locations to shoot this summer, which I cannot wait to share here on FTM.
As many people know, I love the color black. It is flattering, matches everything, and is how I like my coffee so naturally, it’s my favorite color to wear. I paired this plain black tee with a linen skirt, perfect for the ridiculously hot days we’ve been having on Long Island. I don’t usually think to go into Old Navy, but I have a new found love for their “perfect tees” because they are so soft and super cheap so when I wear them out quickly, I don’t feel guilty!
Surprisingly, most of this look is from Forever21. Again, I don’t usually think to go in there because honestly, it gives me a headache. Most locations are unorganized and if you go in there looking for something in particular, chances are you will never find it. The best part about it though is that everything is inexpensive, like these $16 shoes.
I hopped on the choker trend that seems to be going on. This Vanessa Mooney choker works with this outfit, however, I’m not sure it is an accessory I will be wearing often. It’s not really my style but I thought I would give it a shot!
Happy Hump Day! Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more consistent posts to come! xx
